Elliot Deighton's Latest Work
Posted on January 22, 2010
Elliot's latest carving is a gift to his son and a reminder of a special fishing trip they had together. Elliot certainly has a love of carving and for fishing and he has mastered the art of bringing them both together. It is certainly special when one can do that and it shows.
We at Nutmeg continue to be so proud of the work that Elliot does and we thank him each and every time for sharing it with us.

First Time Woodburner And Also A Prize Winner
Posted on January 19, 2010
Shown above is budding young artist Meagan Ryan and her very first woodburning! As you can see, her first woodburning of a chipmunk turned out wonderful and we hope she continues to have fun and be creative with the great pastime and art form that is woodburning.
The little artist also won the door prize during our winter open house in December. Congratulations Meagan and we can't wait to see more of your work!

First Wood Carving by Lisa Moulton

Attached are photos of our very own Lisa Moulton's first cottonwood bark carving. The photos are from various sides and shows the level of detail she put into it. Lisa's carving is the result of the Bark Carving Class offered here at Nutmeg by Illana Miller.
It is a great first carving and we cannot wait to see what Lisa does next. Thanks to Ron her husband for the photos.
And if you have photos of your work, please send it into us so we can share it with all of you.
